Ohtani hit a two-run homer to left field in the top of the sixth inning, with an exit velocity of 101.6 mph, marking his 27th home run of the season and the 300th in his career between Japan and the U.S. He continues to lead the National League in home runs while also advancing his remarkable career milestones.

Additionally, Ohtani set a new record for home runs in the league by hitting 27 homers in 78 games as a leadoff hitter, becoming the player with the most home runs in the first 80 games of a single season in MLB history.
