Recently, Chen Kong Le and Tina admitted that they are also patiently waiting for the Badminton Association of Malaysia to announce the latest updates regarding their contract.
Chen Kong Le stated that she is not deliberately causing any delays; they are also waiting for the association's response.
In an interview at the Malaysian Badminton Academy, Chen Kong Le disclosed that the contract matters are all pending the Badminton Association's decision, and they are also looking forward to the answer. The top women's doubles pair of Malaysia has not yet renewed their contract with the Badminton Association, which expired last December. However, Kong Le mentioned that all negotiations have been completed, and they are waiting for the association's announcement. A press conference is expected to be held soon. Chen Kong Le stated, "I am not intentionally delaying things. I am also waiting for an answer. The press conference will take place, but I don't know the exact timing."
The Badminton Association of Malaysia originally planned to meet with the duo after last month's Thailand Badminton Super 500 tournament to finalize discussions about their future with the association. However, due to their busy schedules, this meeting has been postponed.
The duo ultimately won the women's doubles championship at the Thailand Super 500 tournament, and they are set to participate in the Japan Badminton Super 750 tournament from July 15 to 20 and the China Badminton Super 1000 tournament from July 22 to 27.
