On June 20, local time, Spain's top seed Alcaraz defeated French lucky loser Arthur Rinderknech with a score of 7-5, 6-4 at the ATP 500 level 2025 Queen's Club grass tournament, marking his impressive 16th consecutive victory and securing a spot in the men's singles semifinals.
Spain's top seed Alcaraz
Alcaraz claimed his first title of 2023 in his initial tournament and is now seeking his second title in this event's history. In the previous rounds, he had to battle through three sets to defeat fellow Spaniard Jaume Munar, finally avoiding a tough match in the quarterfinals, where he faced no break points and secured his semifinal ticket in just 1 hour and 20 minutes.
After winning titles at the Rome Masters and the French Open, Alcaraz continues to succeed on grass, further extending his record for the longest winning streak of his career. "I feel much better compared to the first match; this is something I've been working hard on. I'm very pleased to play at this level today," he stated.
Alcaraz's next opponent will be fellow Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut, who triumphed over Denmark's fourth seed Holger Rune in the quarterfinals with a score of 7-6(5), 6-7(4), 6-2.
